"We are the music makers . . . "

whuddup biatches!?

happy black HIST month n stuff.  VALENTINES has passed!  thank goodness!  and even better?  my thanksgiving was fantastic!  got to practice with both bands, followed by a late dinner at a very busy 5 point cafe!

The Tractor Show went fantastically, thanks very much.  And our boy Casey, the barkeep, kicked some ass 'cuz KD, Chay Tay (and a few more) had a very good drunk going.  Props to Lizzie Huffman for playing with greatly diminished voice (although she sounded great, in a Joey Lauren Adams kinda way).  Our other show buddies, A-LEAF did fantastic, and brought a significant crew With them (from Tacoma). I finally also got to meet Tiffany!  Matty's sister, welcome to Seattle!  HRC and CPK in full effect at that show.  high 5s all around

so for SCHOOL i gots a logo project going on for this fictitious Soda Shop called SASAPARILLAS.  it goes well, kinda fun to see business cards and envelopes for it.  Makes me wanna start somethin'

LASTLY, Seigfried vs the GIANT is playing next thursday at the Highline with SMOOTH SAILING, Aurellian and Noise-a-tron.  It's gonna be TITS.

hope to see you there, i mean, it's only 2 blocks from SCCC, starts at 8.
ONE LOVE!

  2. Maybe change the color of the text. It's a little hard to read against the wood panel or distress the wood more. I like the idea of the bubbles cut out into the wood. But then you start to loose the top two bubbles, especially when its shrunk down in print for the business cards. Maybe try shrink the logo down so it all fits the wood panel. The boot with the soda is a cute idea.
